The Stephenville Arts and Culture Centre was opened in April 1975 and houses a 435 seat proscenium theatre, a 142 seat black box theatre, an art exhibition area, conference room and lounge.

As a division of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation we are committed to excellence and presenting the best to patrons. The Arts and Culture Centre offers a wide variety of programming from the best that Newfoundland has to offer, local artists and performers, and diverse artists from across Canada and abroad. We are proud to host the longest running theatre company in Newfoundland, the Stephenville Theatre Festival, each summer.
